WP2 Methodology and Integration
- D2.1 – State of the art on modernization methodologies, methods and tools – WP2 – R – PU – Month 6): State of the art on modernization methodologies, methods and tools: This report will provide the current state-of-the-art analysis methodologies, methods and tools for application modernization and Service Clouds paradigms. This report will provide a baseline for further research in the project
- D2.2 - REMICS Methodology, Interim Release (WP2 – Report – PU– Month 12): This report will define the REMICS methodology including reusable method fragments for legacy architecture recovery and migration to Service Clouds paradigm. The report will follow the SPEM approach for formalisation – methodology modelling defining work products, workflows, tool support and guidelines. The methodology model will be released as an open source.
- D2.3 - REMICS IDE, Interim Release (WP2 – Report/Prototype – PU– Month 18): The report deliverable will describe the overall architecture of the REMICS IDE and involved tool components. The prototype deliverable will represent an integrated development environment that will incorporate all the tools developed in the project for REMICS methodology support. The release will include a single installer, user documentation, examples and screen cast demos. This deliverable will be provided to WP1 for preliminary evaluation.
- D2.4 - REMICS IDE, Interim Release (WP2 – Report – PU– Month 24): This report is an interim deliverable dedicated to provide concise methodological support to end-users of REMICS outcomes. This deliverable will be publicly distributed in order to ensure wide dissemination of REMICS results and their persistence.
- D2.7: REMICS Methodology with agile extension, Interim Release (WP2 – Report – PU– Month 24): This report is an interim deliverable which will define the Agile specialization of REMICS methodology. OMG’s open source standard for metamodeling of software engineering methods (SPEM) and SEMAT framework will be used for the formal modeling and description of the methodology.
WP3 Recover: Methods and Tools
- D3.1 - REMICS KDM extension (WP3 – Report – PU – Month 12): This deliverable (report) will reflect the survey and effort on an extension/adaptation of KDM (an OMG standard for Architecture Driven Modernization) suitable to the REMICS technology. In particular, the strategies and means for extraction of business models/rules, components, data and test specifications will be defined.
- D3.2 - REMICS Recover Toolkit, Preliminary Release (WP3 – Report – PU – Month 12): This is an updated version of the D3.2 representing a first release to be integrated in WP2 and evaluated in WP1 in the first validation round.
- D3.3 - REMICS Recover Toolkit, Interim Release (WP3 – Prototype – PU – Month 24): This is an updated version of the D3.2 representing a first release to be integrated in WP2 and evaluated in WP1 in the first validation round. (Ext) This deliverable represents a preliminary version of RSL recovery tools compliant with the other elements of the REMICS toolkit. This version is dedicated to demonstrate the feasibility of the approach developed in the extended tasks of WP3. The toolkit will include additional knowledge discovery tools for application logic plus a transformation engine into RSL models. The release will include an architecture overview, user documentation and examples of the RSL-related tools. It will be integrated in WP2 and evaluated in WP1.
- D3.6 -REMICS KDM extension for application logic (WP3 – Report – PU – Month 18): This deliverable (report) will reflect the survey and effort on an extension of KDM to reflect the extraction of higher-level application logic of the legacy system. This will supplement the already planned (D3.1) strategies and means for extraction of business models/rules, components, data and test specifications.
WP4 Migrate: Methods and Tools
- D4.1 - REMICS PIM4Cloud SoaML extension (WP4 – Report – PU – Month 18): This document will describe the results on specification of the PIMCloud SoaML extension covering the peculiarities of the SaaS architectures modelling on platform independent level.
- D4.2 - REMICS Migrate Toolkit, Preliminary Release (WP4 – Report – PU – Month 12): This deliverable represents a preliminary version of the Migrate Toolkit. This version is dedicated to demonstrate the feasibility of the methods developed in WP4. The toolkit will include the models migration transformations for business models, components and implementation. The release will include an architecture overview, user documentation and examples.
- D4.3 - REMICS Migrate Toolkit, Interim Release (WP4 – Prototype – PU – Month 24): This is an updated version of the D4.2 representing a first release to be integrated in WP2 and evaluated in WP1 in the first validation round. (Ext) Report outlining 1) the approach for the successful migration of the OLAP applications to the cloud, 2) interim version of the requirements based transformation for SOA/Cloud . A detailed manual and the usability analysis of the procedures are provided.
