The book was launched at the XV Iberoamerican Conference of Legal Informatics which was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina in September this year. The book deals with data protection issues and the general intellectual property framework in the European legislation as a spin-off our European funded project OPTIMIS where the authors are in charge of all the legal issues.
OPTIMIS presented the OPTIMIS' scenarios in a round table at the IEEE CloudCom 2011 Workshop: “Market Implementation of Cloud Interoperability and Portability Research in IaaS and PaaS” During the past Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 in Athens, Greece.

This month Cloud4SOA provided a demo during a SPRERS training session at the West University of Timisoara, Romania, giving the opportunity for young researchers to see the project’s Cloud application portability prototype in action. Be sure to check out their site for more info and copies of several other EC project presentations, as well.
Next stop, Athens! See you at our CloudCom2011 workshop next Wednesday, November 30th.
